Hard Water

Hard water: water that is rich in calcium and magnesium. If you live in the Canadian Prairie provinces, chances are you’ve got it.

What does this mean for you? Take a look at your old faucets and showerheads, the ones that don’t work right anymore. That build-up you see is the result of hard water, and it’s not just on your fixtures.

Hard water has been flowing through every pipe in your home, through your water heater, your washing machine, and your dishwasher. You’ve had it in your pots and pans, your clothes, and all over your dishes. You’ve even bathed in it.

Now take another look at that showerhead. Imagine that build-up clinging to the insides of your coffee maker, slowly clogging it, eating away its life-span, before you use it to pour your morning cup. That’s what it’s doing all over your home.

Appliances are expensive. Protect them.

Hard water is an expensive problem. Treating it is not.
